As a student in Kyokushin Karate for over 25 years, Capital WHS is able to provide First Aid services for martial arts or combat sporting events. Rodney, on request, has provided initial first aid assessment for local interclub tournaments, regional, state and nationally recognised tournaments, camps and special martial art milestones such as 50-man kumite and gradings.
NB: first aid is initial triage management, advanced medical practitioner may be required depending on number of participants and type of event, all first aid management provided are referred for further medical assessment by a medical practitioner.

Capital WHS conduct an on-site inspection to identify potential business specific workplace hazards and the types of associated risks (that could occur) based on your business scope of works to determine the necessary first aid requirements.
Capital WHS, cross references your business Work Health Safety information to ensure relevance and compliance and provides updates as identified. This maintains business integrity and viability.
Capital WHS identifies identified first aid resources required to maintain your business compliance by either enabling your business to implement the agreed first aid resources and or engage Capital WHS to do so.
All first aid resources are to be
relevant for the business scope of work, identified high-risk activities or agreed high-risk concerns
stored and maintained as per the manufacturer's requirements
secured, identifiable and accessible at all times
contents and equipment are to be maintained and current (perishables in date - not expired) as per jurisdictional legislation requirements.

your business has relevant, current and correct ratio of persons that are trained in the first aid equipment and resources
Your business employees are consulted, able to contribute and then re-inducted to all changes ensuring proactive awareness.

inspect your first aid kit, replace perishables, update currency label
inspect your first aid kit, replace perishables, update currency label, update registers
inspect your first aid kit, replace perishables, update currency label, update registers and relevant section of your WHS safety plan
Exchange your first aid kit with an equivalent first aid kit that is relevant, current, and updated label
(similar to that of the LPG gas bottle exchange)
Provide and include new first aid resources, update registers
Provide CPR and First aid training as per Capital WHS training capacity.
NB: minimum scheduled frequency of first aid must be compliant to relevant jurisdictional legislation.
More frequent inspections are based on risk assessment conducted along with agreed schedule frequency such as but not limited to
Monthly, Bi-Monthly, Three, Four or Six monthly.
